I’m Julie, freelance headhunter
And there’s a few (fun) facts you should know about me:
I started working in recruitment in 2010, so that’s over 15 years of experience.
Thanks to my experience, I have an extensive international network.
I speak Dutch, English, French and un poco de Español e Italiano.
I was born & raised in Ghent, and stayed in this charming city. Proud to be #9000
I actually studied to become a nurse, but I felt like it wasn’t my calling.
I take an enthusiastic and efficient approach on headhunting, using humor to lighten up the serious talk.
I keep my word, always. If I tell you I’ll call you back today, then you can expect a call from me that day. And not 2 days later with an apology or lame excuse why I didn’t call you back that day.
I love my job as a freelance headhunter and take pride in every match I make. #matchmaker
I know LinkedIn like the back of my hand & am a proud contributor to this platform.

What I highly value
Personal relationships
Even in a professional context, a personal relationship is important, definitely as a freelance headhunter.
I take my time to get to know both sides. A close and long-term collaboration with a company means that I can help them in their best interest. And getting to know a candidate on a deeper level than just skills, ensures that I present a perfect match that will fit within the team.
Efficiency
I don’t want to waste your time or resources. Therefore, I take a very efficient approach on headhunting.
I know exactly what I’m looking for and will only contact those people that fit the profile. Your time is valuable, so I make sure that every candidate I present is worth interviewing.
Honesty & transparency
You can call me an ethical freelance headhunter. I exclusively work with companies that I trust and believe in. An honest relationship based on respect is the basis for a good collaboration and a precondition for the best possible results. If, for some reason, there is no match between us, I’ll refer you to a suitable colleague.
